I’m told that I was a handful when I was a kid. This doesn’t shock me. Actually, I’m nearly positive that I was a handful when I was a kid. I remember being incredibly curious. I remember thinking that being a kid was hard. I wanted my freedom and autonomy. I didn’t like living in a world of everyone else’s rules. I remember picking up this snake from a cage at camp. I felt bad for her. Because she wasn’t free. Just like me. The little half smile might be me contemplating her possible accidental escape… #tbt

Elizabeth Mitchell is a phenomenally talented American actress, born in 1970, probably best known for her roles as the fan favorite ill-fated and one of the most ambiguous characters of tv Dr. Juliet Burke on the hit show "LOST", and the outstanding Snow Queen on "Once Upon A Time".
She was the lead in the movie "The Purge: Election Year", which brought in $80 million (8 times its budget) only in USA.
Her upcoming movies are "The Christmas Club" for Hallmark channel, the independent feature "Witch Hunt", the romantic comedy "Never Too Late / Welcome To Pine Grove!" with Ellen Burstyn and "What We Found".
She recently played Anna in the Syfy's show "The Expanse, but you probably remember her also as the kick-alien-ass FBI Agent Erica Evans on "V", the scientist Rachel Matheson on "Revolution" and the inspector Carine Strand on the Netflix's action/crime series "Crossing Lines".
With a B.F.A. in Acting she spent 15 year doing theatre before she got in front of the camera. Her credits include: GIA (1998), FREQUENCY (2000), NURSE BETTY (2000), SANTA CLAUSE 2 (2002), SANTA CLAUSE 3 (2006), but also numerous guest appearances and recurring much discussed characters on well-established shows as ER, LAW & ORDER: SVU, BOSTON LEGAL, EVERWOOD, C.S.I., JAG, BLINDSPOT and HOUSE MD. With numerous credits from theatres, TV series and movies, Elizabeth Mitchell has been blessing our small and big screens for more than 30 years.
