Questions And Answers With Liz – Part 3

The exciting part of the day is here!

Q&A part 3!!! 🤗

All Liz’s answers get better every day. They are so inspiring, and I simply love that she cannot stick to rules. 👏🙌

Yeah, we all approve that, right?!

And today we have the answers to 11 questions and not just 10.

Q: What is your favorite childhood memory?

Liz: Well, pretty much every Christmas. But a specific moment…One that sticks out to me is so simple. It was really hot in Texas, where I grew up. The pavement would get so warm. I remember being in the water. Then getting out and laying on the ground. The heat would lull me. Every limb warm and quiet. I’ve never been able to replicate that complete relaxation. That deep boneless childhood ability to just be still and dream.

Q: What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done and would you do it again?

Liz: The craziest thing I’ve ever done. Emotionally, I suppose it would be being an actress. So yes I would absolutely do it again. And physically. I’ve always been a big fan of jumping off of high places into the water. I’m careful. And I’m diligent about where I’m jumping. But once I have the safety in order I am completely in love with the in between. The feeling right after my feet leave the rocks and before they hit the water.

Q:What is your favorite trait of your personality?

Liz: My favorite trait. This is such a lovely question. I suppose my favorite trait is that I am happy alone. My inner voice is kind. Also, I like to think that I have empathy and curiosity. I’m certainly working on it…

Q: If you were stranded on a desert island (like in lost) but you could take 3 things with you, what would they be?

Liz: This is so fun. Sunscreen. Actually a miracle product, sunscreen, face cream, eye cream. All in one magical bottle. A massive volume of books. Also magical. Every time I would open this book. It would be exactly the book that I wanted to read. Right where I left off. I’m assuming that on this island I would be able to find freshwater and food. So I’m not including them. And I’m very torn between writing supplies, candles, hats, coffee, art supplies and music. So I’ll just include all of them. Honestly, I really can’t stick to the rules…

Q: What’s the closest thing to real magic for you?
Liz: : Love

Q: What being an actress means to you?
Liz: : Being an actress was my childhood dream. I am still excited about driving to work. Even at 4am. I suppose it means that I feel incredibly fortunate to do what truly inspires me. Also, on a more esoteric level. I really do love that being an actress affords me the ability to be completely myself. Because I’m an actress I don’t seem to have to conform to the whims of society. I am allowed to be different, not confined to the standards. Because it is believed that artists’ minds work differently. I am thought to be odd, however, because of what I do… it’s quirky. People say “Well, you know, she’s an actress”, and it’s not even hurtful anymore, I just got to the point where I don’t care. I have a little wiggle room. I’m a little in love with the freedom of that, the freedom of being myself.

Q: What would you do if you knew you could not fail?
Liz: Love this question. I think I live my life this way most of the time. But in answer to this question, specifically. Probably, sing in public!

Q: How would it be your perfect Christmas day?
Liz:: My perfect Christmas Day. I would wake up quietly. With the rest of the house asleep. Come downstairs for my coffee and look at the lights on the Christmas tree. Then I listen to the house wake up around me. The kids’ little footsteps. The joy. The greetings. The hugs. All of that would come to life around me and my cup of coffee. Then we spend a joyful day altogether. Probably a walk. Then a massive feast with lots of laughter.

Q: If it were possible to revisit one of your past roles which character would you want to play as again? And why?

Liz: You know it’s so funny. This is such a lovely question but I feel like I probably wouldn’t want to do any of it again. I know that sounds nuts. But everything feels like it’s perfectly complete. If that makes any sense?

Q: If you could go back in time, would you change something from the past?

Liz: This is such an important question. I probably would not go back. Except to give myself a hug and tell myself to be curious. To be kind. To listen. To be brave. To love.

Q: Do you own any props from Lost? An item you kept from the show?

Liz: don’t own any props from lost. But I do have somewhere. A purple Juliet top… Because it was mine…
[Note by Adry, she means that beautiful purple top she wore during LaFleur episode]
